 I founded Bur Oak Photography four years ago. I have over ten years of professional photography experience working as an independent as well as for a nationally recognized studio. I am born and raised in Columbia Missouri and serve the Missouri area for both photography & videography. Rick is a good friend of mine with over 12 years of experience in photography and videography. Rick is the go-to for last minute trips to a different state (or country) for photography excursions and we are absolutely lucky to have him. Rick brings a unique style to the team and also doubles as our drone operator. 

New to the Bur Oak Team in 2021, Alexis is an out-of-town team member and also has an incredible eye for detail & a passion for the bridal-scene and family photography.

Joseph joined our team in 2023 and has a knack for detail and off camera flash. Coming from a background in automotive photography, he brings a unique viewpoint on details and setting the scene for our portraits

Sofia is a graduate student studying Clinical Anatomy. Her aspiration to become a dentist goes hand-in-hand with her attention to detail, precise shots, and bright personality. She will boost your confidence and make for a fun filled day!

Emily and myself have been longtime friends (since high school!). She studied marketing/design during her years at college. Emily continued to refine her eye for detail during school and has been an active photographer for as long as I can remember. Her and her Husband Cody just welcomed their first child in the summer of 2024!
